City Lets Lincoln is keen to help keep students at the University and College in Lincoln safe.
This starts with our student properties and the maintenance of accommodation. We take our statutory obligations very seriously and as such we ensure that:
- Electrical safety in our student accommodation is appropriate and that all wiring is certified according to NICEIC wiring standards
- Gas safety in our student houses is tested as required by a CORGI registered gas installer; with the latest gas safety certificate being available to view
- Smoke alarms are fitted and tested annually in all our student accommodation. However if students could check the fire alarms in the property on a regular basis, we will of course organise for new batteries or alarms as required and on an urgent basis.
Student houses are checked by Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue.
